It may be cold outside - but there's no shortage of things to do in the garden - and if you're looking for some inspiration, come and see us soon! Seed Potatoes, Onion sets and plenty of other veg, as well as the baby plants coming in soon, it's a great time to start planning the garden for the year ahead! You'll also start to see the first of the Spring bulbs come through!
Beautiful Narcissus Tete a tetes are one of the stars of the early spring - versatile and suitable for indoor pots, patio tubs as well as in the garden and lawn, they look fantastic, and make us feel a little bit better during the cold late winter months!
Now is a great time to buy your seed potatoes, ready for planting the early varieties in March. There is a great range available these days from the traditional early favorites such as ‘Maris Bard’, ‘Lady Christi’, ‘Charlotte’ and ‘Nicola’ to main-crops like ‘King Edward’.

During the lean months vermin can be a real problem, particularly in sheds and greenhouses where it’s relatively warm and bedding material and possible food sources are close to hand. Mice can do quite a bit of damage from chewing through packets and plastic containers to digging out

Here at Lyndhurst, we have everything to satisfy your gardening needs. we have an extensive range of all varieties of plants, trees and shrubs constantly in stock, along with a large giftware range for that special occasion and a good homeware selection.
We have a coffee shop which serves hot meals, or light snacks and a wide range of beverages.
You can take a break from shopping while visiting us, and sit either inside or outside at our ice cream parlour, serving a large variety of ice creams and sundaes.
Our friendly staff will help you to find what you need.
