Safer shopping guidance

Having received confirmation from the Government we are pleased that we can reopen our doors from Wednesday 13th May. Our opening ours will be 9am - 4pm Monday to Saturday and 10am - 4pm Sunday.

In order to keep our team and customers safe we have been working on a number of changes; please read through them before you visit.

  • We do not have toilets available for customers

  • Two person lifts of heavy items will not always be available.

  • We will still be operating our delivery service but delivery may take longer than usual.

  • Our coffee shop is currently closed

  • We are opening for those who have a good idea of what they are coming to buy. We are not open for browsing, a day out, somewhere to do your daily exercise or somewhere to meet friends.

  • Please do not enter the garden centre if you or someone in your household has Covid-19 symptoms.

  • Please do not touch products which you won't be buying.

Please note most most of the queues will be outside so please dress appropriately.

By advising that we are not permitting under 16's and restricting entry to 2 people per group, we hope to reduce numbers and discourage large family groups but there may be some exceptions when we are not busy.

Please be aware that the disable car parking space and the spaces along the front wall at the garden centre are not currently in use to allow room for queuing.

A note on face coverings - we have implemented measures to allow customers to maintain 2m distance from team members and other customers, provided the systems are followed.  Therefore we will not be asking that you wear face coverings when you shop at Lyndhurst.  Our team will only be required to wear a face covering if carrying out a task in which a 2m distance cannot be adhered to.

Thank you all for your co-operation, patience and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you all back!
